Lukla is the entry point of the Everest Base Camp Trek . You get Lukla by the 40 minutes scenic Mountain Flight from Kathmandu. Lukla is the small and prosperous town and Tenzing Hillary Airport lies here. From here you hike to Phakding and spend your first night in the Himalaya. You follow a beautiful, pine forest, trekking trail and head off to the glaciated Dudh Kosi River and to the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. The first prominent, shining view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) impresses you as the trekking trail leads you to the Sagarmatha National Park, an important bird area and the sacred Himalayan landscape of the world.
You need to spend one more day in Namche for acclimatization of your body. In the acclimatization day you will hike up to Everest View hotel and return down Namche. Nearby Syangboche Airport offers a panoramic view of mountains. The trek from Namche to Tengboche offers the stunning view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and the world’s most beautiful mountain – Ama Dablam. Endangered musk deer, Himalayan thar, and multi-colored pheasants come into your views as you trek to Tengboche, a village with a viewpoint. This viewpoint offers the exceptional view of 8,000 m and 7000m peaks. It also has the Everest Region’s famous monastery, Tengboche Monastery which attracts you with its exuberant workmanship. In the peak season, 600 tourists visit this monastery every week.
Dingboche offers the view of the world’s three highest peaks: Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. They win your heart. Equally, Cholatse, Taboche, Louche West and Lobuche East peaks look awesome. Later, from the trekking trail, you see the Khumbu Glaciers, as well as Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur peaks. From the base camp, during spring, you see the Everest climbers, resting and preparing for Everest ascent; from Thangma Riju you see a 360-degree view of mountains; and from Kala Pattar trekking trail, and you see the vicinity of the Himalayas. Every trail of the Everest Base Camp Trekking displays the mountains.
Most of the trekking company offer Everest Base Camp Trek 14 day itinerary but we will provide one spare day in Kathmandu. Your Lukla to Kathmandu flight may not be on time which may affect your international flight. Everest Base Camp Trek and flight back by helicopter package to complete Everest base camp trek 10 days. Normally, Everest Base Camp Trekking cost is USD 1500 but we will provide 10% discount on this cost. September, October, March and April are the Everest base camp trek best time of year. If you want to slightly different trekking we will provide another Everest base camp trek route.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) – 3 hours.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) – 5.5 hours
Day 04: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m) – 5 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4,350 m) – 5 hours.
Day 07: Acclimatization Hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083 m) – 4 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m) – 5 hours.
Day 09: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) and Back to Gorak Shep (5,180 m) – 8 hours.
Day 10: Hike Up to Kala Patthar (5,555 m) then Trek Down to Pheriche (4,200 m) – 7 hours.
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) – 7 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) – 6 hours.
Day 13: Morning Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and sightseeing
Day 14: Spare day in Kathmandu
Day 15: Transfer to the International Airport for Your Final Flight Departure.
